Podcast are a innovated way to get information out to people around the world. They allow anyone who knows how to make a podcast, to develop one and publish it. The six podcast that I listen to were about education and and technology. They seemed like they would be great helping tools for teachers or students.
One of the first things I noticed about the podcast was the fact that some of them were very conversational. In the sense of they act as if they are just talking to one another as just another day. It makes the podcast much more interesting and I think it allows people to gain more information from it. With that thought it leads me to my next observations.
The educational podcast were really lively and really gave new ways for teachers to connect with other teachers and maybe even new ideas for the classroom. The Smart-Board podcast really shows this because its an actually tool that can be used in the classroom or at home. It allows teachers around the world to connect with one another.
The idea behind these podcast are really a tech savvy way for teachers to go down to their students level and learn something new. These podcast are really focused on education and technology. They stay pretty personal which brings people in, it also gives new ideas. These podcast would allow for the student to maybe voice their individual opinion. Podcast are a new future tool that I think will be in the classroom.
