Wikipedia Post
Wikipedia is a site where information flows freely and can be edited by just about anyone. The question that has a raised from this is whether Wikipedia is a reliable source or not. The idea behind having such a vase about information free to anyone is a great idea the problem is that any can edit and some people edit to their benefit. In my personal opinion Wikipedia is a good source of general information but just like a teacher of mine said if you see the same information some where else then its probably true information. I believe that the scanner that the graduate student created is a great way to monitor who places information on this site and what not. This site is no so much false information, you just have to be willing to look at the information in a non bias form, because companies and people can change information to make it better or worst. If you go into the site thinking that way the information you do receive from Wikipedia could be used as a good source. My last thought, don't make Wikipedia you main source, make it your starting point.
